The Talbains

Once a well-respected noble family, the Talbains ruled over a small town for generations. They were known as a fair, gentle family, but an inquisition discovered the secret that the family kept. The entire line was formed of lycans, those who would keep themselves hidden. Their numbers were few, but the family was intelligent. This mattered little to the people of the land, however, as each one was hunted ruthlessly, by both mortals and vampires, and now only two remain. Only recently have they appeared, but their intelligence quickly brought them to lead the weres in the eternal war between lycans and vampires. Under their supervision, the lycans' wild side became more tame and refined.

Warren Talbain
Some say he was born to carry a rifle. Others still say his unarmed combat is where he succeeds. Only being truly average in these two skills, not many weres know what a rifle is, let alone how to use one. His unique affinity for the ranged weapon makes him stand out on the battlefield, while his uncharacteristic calm, calculating personality does so in a room.

Tawny Talbain
A skilled fencer, Tawny's melee fighting style carries a unique disciplin to it that Warren and other lycans lack in their abilities. Where most lycans possess a berserker's fury, Tawny has a firey spirit that shows a characteristic tenacity and an uncharacteristic dose of wit to her fights. Those who fight her can easily tell her apart from others, while anyone who met her would be confused by her lack of aggressiveness. This doesn't hold her back from participating in the occasional wrestle or two, even if she tends to lose.

The two siblings are usually close together, Warren providing support for his sister as she works her way forward. Together, the pair form the right team to band together and lead a lycanthrope army.
